Five-day workshop to know the horticultural therapy in Austria, practical examples, the inclusion in the labour market and the integration on farms


Day 1 - Stainach Irdning (Austria)

Third #workshop "Implementation of Green Care in Austria"


On this first day, we enjoyed dinner in the company of all participants.


We also got to know a project about #greencare Care in #agriculture.

Day 2 - Stainach Irdning (Austria)

On this day, we visited #NEBA: Network of Professional Work: The Network of Professional Assistance and #HDI: House of Inclusion, Administration of the organisation Lebenshilfe, management of different inclusion projects.

In the afternoon, we received a guided tour through the #horticultural #garden (Lebenshilfe) and the agricultural research centre Höhere Bundeslehr- und Forschungsanstalt Raumberg-Gumpenstein.

In addition, there was a round table discussion with representatives of the #agrarian field and representatives of the state´s care authorities on how #agroinclusion can be implemented in practice.

Finally, we had a nice dinner on a farm with a herb educator.




Day 3- Stainach Irdning (Austria)

Third day of the ##agroinclusion #workshop in Austria.

We spent the day in the nature park "Sölktäler"​ , where we saw how it is possible for #mountain #pastures to be a place of work for people with special needs. ​

In addition, we visited the Groß-Sölk castle : special garden with plant varieties.

Finally, we took a circular walk through the #nature park together with people with special needs where we discussed how to include people with special needs in landscape conservation and nature protection.



Day 4 - University College for Agrarian and EnvironmentalPedadogy. Vienna. (Austria)


Fourth day of the #Agroinlcusion workshop in #Austria.

On this day on our way to Vienna (Hochschule für Agrar- und Umweltpädagogik in Ober St. Veit), we visited a Green care farm. ​


In the afternoon, we had the project coordination meeting and in the evening we had a great barbecue ​​in the park of the University-College.

Day 5- University College for Agrarian and EnvironmentalPedadogy. Vienna. (Austria)

​ Last day of the #agroinlcusion workshop in #Austria.

On this last day we had a guided tour through the University college with the focus on #horticultural projects and projects with #refugees.
