The day starts with:
A visit to LAG Šipka. The session is conducted in the Czech language and focuses on orienting attendees to the Vysočina region.
Following this, the Fokus Vysočiny organization presents itself to the attendees.
In the afternoon, the attendees participate in the Forest squat and work on the parks and forests. Then, the attendees visit the social enterprise FOVY in Havlíčkův Brod. Here, they learn about handmade diaries, notebooks, photo albums, sketchbooks, greeting cards, and festive plates.
The itinerary for the day is as follows:
Morning session at LAG Podhůří železných hor
Visit to Tekis, a social enterprise working in the production of packaging materials, handicrafts, planning of agricultural products, IROP (waste collection) and RDP (mould production) in Svinný Chotěboř.
Visit to Benediktus, a community for mentally handicapped people, where they dry fruits, cut grass and run the IROP project in a therapeutic workshop, workcamp in Modletín.
Visit to Zástraň, an organic farm with the OPZ project for the employment of a disadvantaged workshop in Nová Ves - Zástraň
Our journey peaked:
meeting led by the Governor for Social Services in the Czech Republic. This unveiled the nation's empowering plans for those with disabilities.
Café on the Road, a social enterprise, exemplified their mission by offering employment for disabled individuals. We engaged, learned coffee-making, and tried cake crafting.
At Dúm ve Zboží, support for disabilities was evident through varied services, emphasizing a life akin to peers'.
Háta o.p.s. social enterprise, our last stop, demonstrated excellence via laundry, food trucks, and co-founding a food bank. Interaction with staff and local figures offered insights into Czech Republic's Local Action Group (LAG).
